In an effort to better understand some of the observed shifts in the way in which young people are connecting and creating relationships, Nell and Laine invite two Gen Z chicas to the pod; Double Trouble's social media intern and Laine's right hand woman, AKA her family babysitter! They share their experiences in navigating social and romantic lives nowadays. This honest discussion, rich in candor, provokes us to think of the ways our own children will be affected by the shifts in modern communication. Nell and Laine discuss the ways they can prepare their own children for communication trends that are dominated by screens and technology, rather than face to face. The genuine curiosity and easy dialogue allows listeners to see the advantages and disadvantages of what this generation is facing...and anticipate some of what is to come.
