Dr. Rubenstein, a board-certified dermatologist with over 14 years of experience, is passionate about providing comprehensive care. A Chicago native, she graduated with honors from the University of Michigan, earned a master’s in biological sciences at Touro University, and completed medical training at Midwestern University. She pursued residencies in family medicine and dermatology, achieving board certification in both specialties.

Specializing in inflammatory skin conditions like psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, she integrates holistic care with expertise in aesthetic medicine, including injectables and laser treatments. Outside work, she enjoys life with her integrative physician husband and their two children, embracing the city’s arts and culture.

Dr. Joan Friedman is a renowned twin expert, identical twin, and mother of five, including fraternal twin sons. Her unique perspective and extensive experience make her a leading voice on the emotional needs of twins and their families worldwide. Dr. Friedman conducts groups for parents of twins and provides consultations on school placements, behavioral issues, developmental differences, and individuation struggles. She also offers individual therapy and online consultations.

Her acclaimed first book, Emotionally Healthy Twins, guides parents through twin-specific challenges. Her second book, The Same but Different: How Twins Can Live, Love, and Learn to be Individuals (2014), explores adult twin relationships. With doctorates from two prestigious psychoanalytic programs and years of experience in mental health facilities, Dr. Friedman brings unparalleled insight into child development, parenting, and the complexities of twin dynamics.

Isis is the Co-founder and Program Director of the Agency. She is a special educator, executive functioning coach, behavior specialist, family coach, and mentor. She holds a master's degree in Special Education with a Concentration in Autism from Long Island University, C.W. Post.  She has been working with children, families, and the community for the past 20+ years. 

I am a senior at the University of Illinois at Chicago, currently pursuing a degree in Business Management with a concentration in Managerial Logistics, accompanied by a minor in Business Analytics. I am deeply committed to harnessing hands-on experiences to foster professional growth and effect meaningful change. My goal is to leverage my academic background to drive positive outcomes within the realm of operations and logistics.
